I wanted to make art journal page long time ago, I bought notepad from Ranger but twice I through project into trash, I did not like pages so thin 🙁 and even when I glued them together (2 pages) I had wrinkles on paper. So today I decided that I need to make my art journal on basic heavy weight watercolour paper. I love Daler Rowney Watercolour paper 300g/m2 (140lb). It is size A4 (11,7×8,3inch).
For my art journal I took funny stamps from Katzelkraft – three different cats. I stamped them with Archival ink and coloured with Distress Markers. And also very old bird stamps from Artemio.
Background is made with Finnabair medias – Gesso, Matt medium, Structure paste.
All colours are Tattered Angels sprays and one Ecoline watercolour. Some details are made with Faber Castell gelatos and final shading with Faber Castell Pitt artist pens and Edding white paint marker.
I used great stickers from 7 dots studio.
It is easy art journal page but with tons of details. I really enjoyed creating it, such great relax! I hope you will like it.
